How long has Code Nutrition been in business? Code Nutrition began research and development in early 2006. We invest significant time and resources to ensure that our products are aligned with the latest scientific advances in genetics and nutrition.

What research supports genetically tailoring supplements? In October 1990, a multi-national group of scientists began the process of mapping the human genome, referred to as the Human Genome Project. A working draft of the project was published in early 2001 and the fully completed map of the human genome was published in 2003. The Human Genome Project paved the way for a flood of discoveries that may have tremendous benefits for the human race — like the study of human genetics which is rapidly advancing in many different areas of emphasis. Scientists from around the globe are studying the impact of genes on health, nutrition, behavior, intelligence and more.

Nutrigenetics, the science of creating custom nutritional products and programs based on an individual's specific genetic profile, is a rapidly expanding field with significant research being done at major universities and centers of learning all over the world. Code Nutrition draws from this reservoir of knowledge to create genetically-tailored programs for our clients. (Please see our bibliography for a list of research articles and studies.) In addition, Code Nutrition scientists have collected and tested hundreds of DNA samples to validate our own programs.

When will I get my test results? Typical time to process and analyze your DNA is approximately 2 weeks after we receive your sample. We then carefully review your results and generate your Personal RDA Report™. You can expect to receive your report about three weeks from the time we receive your sample.

How can I view my test results? You can view your test results, or Personal RDA Report™, in two ways. First, you can view your results in your secure customer account at www.codenutrition.com. You will be notified via email when the results are available for you to view. Second, you will receive a printed copy of your Personal RDA Report™ with your first supply of Coded Essentials™ supplements.

What is the delivery system for my supplements? Your Coded Essentials™ supplements are specially formulated, fast-acting tablets and soft gels conveniently packaged in individual daily dose packets.

When will my custom supplements arrive? You can expect your Coded Essentials™ to arrive approximately three weeks after we receive your DNA sample.

How is my DNA collected? In the privacy of your home, you will rub or swipe the inside of your cheek using special swabs. You then return the swabs to us in the provided prepaid return mailer.

Is my information secure? Protecting your privacy is a critical component of Code Nutrition's service. We understand the need for vigorous privacy protection and careful management of your personal information.
